Moderna is actively recruiting San Antonio participants to test the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine candidate in adolescents.Moderna’s vaccine, mRNA-1273, is currently approved by the Federal Drug Administration for those 18 and older. Phase 2 of the study is targeting children ages 12-17. San Antonio is one of four active trial site locations. The study is also recruiting in is in Houston, Meridian, Idaho and La Mesa, Calif.
