Zero new local cases of COVID-19 in NSW: Health Minister – Sydney Morning Herald
Ten people who were quarantined at a Brisbane hotel before returning home to NSW are in isolation, as the state records no new local coronavirus cases.
Mr Hazzard said NSW Health had been in contact with all 10 people from the state who had completed hotel quarantine at the Grand Chancellor in Brisbane, which is associated with six cases of the highly transmissible B117 variant.
“They are all in self-isolation. And being tested. And so, that is being managed appropriately,” he said.
On Wednesday night, NSW Health issued an alert instructing anyone who had been at the hotel from December 30 to get tested immediately and self-isolate for 14 days.
