Gold Coast company’s ‘world-first’ vegan baby formula set to hit the market

A Queensland dad who came up empty handed when trying to find a plant-based baby formula for his son believes he’s created the product to fill the market gap.
Selasi Berdie, a co-founder of the Gold Coast-based Sprout Organic Nutrition, says his company has developed the world’s “first infant formula that’s certified organic and plant-based”.
It’s set to hit the shelves in May.
“It literally came from my own experience,” Berdie, a former Gold Coast Titans NRL player, told 7NEWS.
