Bernard Tomic has qualified for the Australian Open – and unleashed on critics.
Tomic beat countryman John-Patrick Smith 6-4 5-7 7-6 (10-7) in his third and final qualifying match in Doha on Thursday morning (AEDT), meaning that he’s into the main draw for the Melbourne Park Grand Slam; off the back of three three-set wins.
The former world No.17, now ranked No.228, was in a feisty mood after the last match.
