We can confirm that Jonathon Patton has been admitted to hospital to assist in the management of his ongoing mental health, Connor Sports Management said in a statement to 7NEWS.
We hope that Jonathons privacy is respected at this time.
Patton, 27, has been absent from the Hawks pre-season training this week after being stood down from all duties by the club.
