Bushfire threatening lives and homes in Bibra Lake, in Perth’s south
A bushfire is threating homes in Bibra Lake, in Perth’s south, with residents urged to evacuate immediately.
The warning covers an area between Progress Drive and North Lake Road.
The fire started near the intersection of North Lake Road and Discovery Drive, and was reported at 12:44pm.
Residents are advised to leave now if the way is clear.
North Lake Road between Discovery Drive and Phoenix Road is closed, as is Bibra Drive to Phoenix Road.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
