Ingham man wanted over alleged fatal stabbing on north Queensland street

A man wanted over the alleged fatal stabbing of another young man on a north Queensland street has been identified.

Caleb Rutherford is sought by police after the death of Josh Hyde, 20, in Ingham, north of Townsville, on Sunday night.

People who know of Rutherford’s whereabouts are warned not to approach him.

Hyde was walking with two females, aged 25 and 16, on Mcilwraith Street when they were approached by a man.
