WA cricket stalwart Mitch Marsh will become the first player in Big Bash League history to play 14 seasons for the same club after re-committing to the Scorchers for a further four years.
The long-term extension will tie Marsh to the leagues most successful franchise until hes 33 years old, putting him on track to remain a one-club player.
Marsh, whos played 55 games for Perth, is the only Scorchers player to be contracted for every edition of the tournament since its inception in 2011.
