NT’s fortnightly international arrival cap lifts to 850 under Commonwealth agreement

The cap on international arrivals staying at the quarantine facility near Howard Springs will increase from 500 to 850 people per fortnight under an agreement between the Federal and Northern Territory governments.

Chief Minister Michael Gunner said the Northern Territory would begin to “scale up” the number of repatriated Australians staying at the centre this month.

“There are no extra flights scheduled yet, but they will start scaling up across this month,” he said.
