Michael Fonfara, the Canadian keyboardist best known for performing in Lou Reed’s backing band during the ’70s, has died aged 74.
First reported by CBC News, Fonfara died January 8 in a Toronto hospital following a two-year battle with cancer, as mentioned in a statement from publicist Eric Alper.
