NT Government revokes Greater Brisbane as a coronavirus hotspot

The Northern Territory Government has revoked Greater Brisbane’s coronavirus hotspot status for the purposes of travel to the jurisdiction.

- The NT Government declared Greater Brisbane a coronavirus hotspot last Friday
- Brisbane entered a three-day lockdown that is set to end tonight
- The lockdown was triggered after a hotel quarantine cleaner tested positive for the mutant UK strain of coronavirus
The announcement comes after the Queensland Government said its lockdown of the city would end this evening.
The Greater Brisbane hotspot encompassed the local government areas of Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Moreton Bay Region and Redland City.
