New restrictions in Qld see mandatory facemasks remain in Greater Brisbane as COVID lockdown is lifted

While millions of Greater Brisbane residents will be released from a three-day lockdown on Monday night, face masks will remain mandatory for 10 more days.

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced on Monday that people living in the Greater Brisbane region must carry a face mask at all times until at least 1am on January 22.
