A Melbourne cinema has dropped a pre-movie ad on Australia Day after a complaint it was ‘highly inappropriate’.

A Melbourne cinema has dropped an advertisement centred around Australia Day after a complaint it was propaganda.
The ad, from the National Australia Day Council, had been played before screenings at Carltons popular Cinema Nova.
It featured Australians from different backgrounds, including Indigenous Australians, and spoke of the history of European settlement.
The ad concluded with: Were all part of the story.
However, one complaint on Twitter has seen Cinema Nova scrap the ad.
