Hawthorn Football Club legend Graham Arthur passes away, aged 84 – Wide World of Sports
‘A man of such immense character’

Hawthorn Football Club legend Graham Arthur has passed away at the age of 84.
Arthur was a triple best-and-fairest winner and will forever be remembered as the Hawks’ in augural premiership captain.
He played 232 games over the course of 13 years and coached Hawthorn across 1964 and 1965.

Arthur was inducted into Hawthorn’s hall of fame in 2003, before being elevated to the status of ‘legend’ in 2005.
