The Philadelphia 76ers had eight active players — and used just seven — in a 115-103 defeat to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday (AEDT).

After Seth Currys positive COVID-19 result earlier this week saw multiple Sixers forced into isolation, Philadelphia pushed for the game to be postponed.
Instead, the NBA continued with plans to hold the game, before both Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid were ruled out at the last-minute with injuries.
Despite not being listed on the injury report less than 24 hours before tip-off, Simmons did not play due to knee stiffness, while for Embiid, the organisation said he missed the game with back tightness.
