COVID fines in Greater Brisbane issued as lockdown measures set to expire

More than a dozen Queenslanders have been hit with hefty fines for breaching coronavirus restrictions.
Deputy Commissioner Steve Gollschewski said 15 people had been given the $1,300 ticket in the past 24 hours.
Those include some people who had held a party in defiance of the lockdown, some who refused to wear a mask and a man who participated in a protest.
“There have been 15 penalty infringement notices in the last 24 hours, 21 since we started, a remarkably low amount,” Gollschewski…
