Blues coach fractures foot after winding back the clock at training session – Fox Sports
Carlton has a late addition to the Round 6 injury list.

But this time its not a player, after coach David Teague suffered a nasty injury at training.
The Blues headed to the Gold Coast earlier this week, but Teague is the first casualty for the club after scans revealed he had fractured his foot.

Round 6
In a post on Carltons Twitter page, fitness boss Andrew Russell confirmed Teague had gone down much to the amusement of the playing group ahead of Sundays clash with the Western Bulldogs.
Welcome to this weeks injury report. Weve had the big dog go down, he said.
Whenever we come out of the session with a fractured foot, we are always pretty concerned about that. But absolutely got the boys up, they thought it was hysterical.

David Teague will be unavailable for selection this weekend: in fact, he won’t be available for “a long, long time”… #OwnTheFuturepic.twitter.com/sWo6FO2sjX

The problem with Teaguey is that he thinks he should be playing. I still think he is going to talk to the board about getting a playing contract.
Bang over on the ankle, done. Out for the count, out for the rest of the session. MRI result, fractured foot.
But hes been in pretty good spirits, surprising that someone fractured their foot and have to bounce back. He took the team meeting about two hours later, no worries whatsoever in the moot boot.
Id think hed be out for a long time. A long, long time.
Back in his heyday, Teague played 83 games for Carlton and North Melbourne between 2001 and 2006.
Just over two years ago, Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan was forced into surgery on his hamstring after slipping out of the Big Freeze 4 pool on Queens Birthday.
