Brisbane queues ease but shortages remain
Predictably on Friday toilet paper, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and milk sold out quickly.
By Saturday lunch time, however, the queues at several Brisbane stores had gone and sense and sensibility returned to the shopping queues in four shopping centres in Brisbane’s south.

At Coles Fairfield Gardens all shoppers were wearing masks and there were no queues for food.
Toilet paper and cat litter were almost gone at 2pm, but bread and milk were fully stocked.
Shop supervisor Sadia Yawari things had settled down dramatically after Friday’s rush for weekend groceries.
