Greater Brisbane has been plunged into lockdown. So where can you go and what can you do?
A Queensland hotel quarantine cleaner who tested positive to the highly contagious UK strain of coronavirus had 79 close contacts and 689 “movements” in the community while contagious — prompting authorities to enforce a three-day lockdown.
As millions of people in Greater Brisbane are forced to stay home for the first time since April, many are wondering what’s still open for business and what’s not.
Here’s what you can and can’t do while in lockdown.
What’s closed?
Residents in the Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay and the Redlands council areas have all been locked in under strict stay-at-home orders from 6:00pm yesterday to 6:00pm Monday.
