Taken for a ride by rideshare companies
The Queensland Office of Fair Trading has fielded 21 complaints about rideshare companies last year and more than 100 in the last five years.Other complaints from passengers covered discount offers and vouchers not being honoured, being charged for cleaning the vehicle without being told it would be done or aware that it was required, poor customer service, bookings not being fulfilled and accounts being closed without reason.In addition, in the past three years the Human Rights Commission has…
