This year, TV makers such as Samsung, LG, TCL, Sony and Hisense are all going to show off new TVs, many of which won’t merely be tweaks on existing technology but will introduce new tech that promises to dramatically improve the quality of the on-screen picture.
Samsung, the world’s number one TV maker, is bringing to market two technologies, both of which use tiny light-emitting diodes (LEDs), though to very different ends.
