‘That to me was more in disgust than joy’

Former Test captain Ian Chappell says Rishabh Pant deserves to be let off the hook for his role in the Will Pucovski claimed catch controversy at the SCG on day one.
Spin king Shane Warne was particularly scathing towards India’s wicketkeeper, who appeared to wrongfully claim a catch when debutant Pucovski was on 32 in the first innings of the third test.
Social media type also piled on but Chappell said the chirpy gloveman was no villain.
