A new IKEA food product is being promoted as ‘plant-based’, much to the confusion of the public.
IKEA Australia announced the release of a plant-based strawberry sorbet, which is now available in all stores for just $1.50 per serve.
It is fruit-based, made with strawberry puree and while that sounds delicious, sorbets are understood to have always been plant-based, owing their refreshing flavour to fruit.
