Greater Brisbane is about to go into a three-day lockdown: Here’s what you need to know
After several months of enjoying relaxed restrictions, from this evening, more than 1 million residents across Greater Brisbane will be placed back into lockdown.
The tough and sudden measures have been brought in to try and contain a potential “catastrophic” outbreak of a highly contagious strain of COVID-19, which escaped hotel quarantine in the city.
This means people from Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay and the Redlands council areas will again have to abide by strict directives for at least the next three days — here is what you can and cannot do:
