US police fire detectives involved in raid which led to fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor in Louisville
Louisville police in the United States have fired two detectives, one who shot Breonna Taylor and another who sought the warrant that led to the deadly raid.

- Breonna Taylor was shot by police in her home while they were executing an arrest warrant for her ex-boyfriend
- The officers were cleared of any criminal charges in September

Detectives Myles Cosgrove and Joshua Jaynes were fired after receiving notification last week that they would be dismissed.
They were sent a letter informing them of their dismissal.
Ms Taylor, a black woman, was killed on March 13 by police executing a search warrant in a drug case that targeted her ex-boyfriend.
