Don’t gift your keys to thieves these holidays
Cars get stolen – we all know that.
Unfortunately, over the weekend of December 19 to December 21, three vehicles were stolen from the Caloundra and Pelican Waters area.
These cars were stolen by opportunistic thieves who managed to get their hands on the vehciles’ keys.
In Queensland, one in two cars are stolen using the car’s keys.
Those stealing keys and cars aren’t necessarily going to great lengths to do so, which tells us that thieves will take any easy opportunity to steal cars.
Let’s do what we can to reduce their ability by protecting not only our cars, but our keys as well.
