South-east Queensland wind surge to merge with ex-Tropical Cyclone Imogen

These areas expected to be covered by thick, dark clouds in the next few days should experience daytime temperatures five to 10 degrees below the January average.
Senior meteorologist Laura Boekel said on Thursday “a second storm band yesterday brought moderate to heavy falls through the Darling Downs and Ipswich and it cut off just before it got to Brisbane, so Brisbane didn’t see heavy falls from that.”
