South-east Queensland hit by wall of storms with 100mm in two hours

In the Darling Downs, Gatton had 46 millimetres, Toowoomba recorded 41, Oakey received 49 and Warwick had 41 millimetres.

In the 24 hours to 5am on Thursday, the State Emergency Service received 85 calls for help across the state, including 47 in the south-east Queensland region.
None were in Brisbane, but there were 36 in Ipswich and six in Logan.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said most calls were for leaking roofs and requests for sandbags.
