Its not the easiest thing for a Victorian-based jockey to jet to Queensland and ride under current COVID regulations and Craig Williams doesnt yet have a booking in the Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
So it could pay to follow the 2019 Melbourne Cup winning jockey over the next two Saturdays, given Williams is prepared to make the trek north without a Classic ride to hang his hat on as yet.
That could change on Saturday with Williams now confirmed to ride Godolphin’s two-year-old filly…
