It’s very rare that you see Nintendo going out and purchasing developers, but they’ve announced today that they’ve acquired Next Level Games.
For almost as long as the Canadian developer has existed, it has had an exclusivity agreement with Nintendo, developing games such as Luigi’s Mansion 3, Punch-Out, Metroid Prime: Federation Force and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon during the last 5-10 years.
