Matt Hancock says there are ‘significant rises’ in some Tier 3 locations
Health Secretary Matt Hancock warned there will be some very difficult weeks ahead as he suggested that Tier 3 areas with rising coronavirus cases could face tougher restrictions.
He told BBC Radio 4s Today programme: There are Tier 3 areas of the country where the virus is clearly spreading and increasing, and in fact some of those areas are where it is increasing the fastest.
