Man dies after swimming at Wattamolla in Royal National Park south of Sydney

The body of a man has been retrieved from Wattamolla lagoon in Sydney’s Royal National Park.

- Police recovered the man’s body about 6:20pm on Monday

- A woman was treated by paramedics at the scene and is in a stable condition
Emergency services arrived at the scene after 5:00pm on Monday following reports two people had got into difficulties after jumping from a rock into the lagoon.
The rock and lagoon is a popular swimming spot and is heavily frequented in the summer months.
NSW Police said they recovered the body of a man, believed to be in his 20s, about 6:20pm.
