Qld test delays decline as more clinics open

Fever clinic capacity has been boosted across Queensland after delays of up to six hours following a request from Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young for anyone who had travelled from Victoria since December 21 to self-quarantine until being cleared of COVID-19.
With two new locally acquired cases in New South Wales and only three cases reported in Victoria on Monday, all linked to existing clusters, Dr Young has also held firm on existing interstate travel restrictions.
Seven additional state-run testing sites have been opened since Sunday, with staff levels reinforced and opening hours extended, along with the reopening of Commonwealth clinics, acting Premier Cameron Dick said.
