Cumbria health boss issues update on schools reopening as Covid pressures increase – Lancs Live
Concerns are growing about increasing coronavirus rates in parts of Cumbria inlcuding Carlisle and Eden

Uncertainty remains over whether primary schools in Cumbria will open as planned tomorrow as concern grows over “very high” Covid rates.
Cumbria’s director of public health Colin Cox has issued an update saying that he wants schools to stay closed in a bid to stop coronavirus from spreading.
Mr Cox said he has written to the Department for Education asking for Cumbrian primary schools to be added to the list of schools in England that will not open tomorrow.
However, they are yet to receive an answer…
