UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson flags tougher COVID-19 restrictions likely on the way

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has flagged that more coronavirus restrictions are probably on the way for the United Kingdom, as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.

The UK’s cases are at record levels and increasing, fuelled by a new and more transmissible variant of the virus.
