Lengthy queues test patience at Qld COVID clinics amid Victoria fears

Nine News Melbourne’s Elisabeth Moss posted from the same queue: “Been here more than an hour already. Some kids in slippers, others asleep in parent’s arms. A few in the queue with suitcases.”
Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said on Saturday that one close contact of a Victorian case had been identified in the Mackay region, while a casual contact had been confirmed on the Gold Coast.
As a result, anyone in Queensland who was in Victoria on December 21 or since then has been urged to get tested and quarantine at home or their accommodation until they receive a negative result.
