Steam Rings in the New Year With 25 Million Concurrent Users – PCMag AU
Digital gaming storefront Steam shatters its previous concurrent user record one day into 2021.

For the first time ever, Steam has crossed 25 million concurrent users.
At the time of this writing, SteamDB captured a 24-hour peak count of 25,415,080 players on Saturday, topping a previous record of 24 million players who were online just a few weeks ago, PCGamesN reports.
People are still staying at home, as they did when the COVID-19 lockdowns began. In March 2020, for example, SteamDB reported a record-breaking number of concurrent users for three weeks running. Though vaccines…
