Taipei, Jan. 2 (CNA) Stargazers in Taiwan will have an opportunity to see shooting stars on Sunday when the annual Quadrantid meteor shower closes in on its peak, the Taipei Astronomical Museum said earlier this week.
The best time to watch the Quadrantids will be between Sunday evening and early Monday, when they will produce around 110 meteors per hour from a radiant near the North Star as they reach the Earth’s atmosphere and burn up, the museum said.
