AFL reporter speaks after being denied entry in QLD border drama – Fox Sports
AFL reporter Mark Stevens has spoken about being turned around from Gold Coast Airport and sent to Sydney as a result of sweeping Covid-19 border restrictions to limit Victorians from spreading the virus.
Stevens, Channel 7s chief football reporter, was rushed onto a Queensland-bound plane after border lockdowns were announced, with all Victorian teams leaving the state to continue the AFL season.
