Aussie driver charged, ute seized after allegedly doing 100km/h OVER the speed limit

A man allegedly caught travelling at more than 200km/h has had his ute seized and been charged with dangerous driving.
The 48-year-old driver came to the attention of police via the speed cameras on the M1 highway on the Gold Coast.
He was allegedly detected driving at 212km/h in the northbound lanes at Gaven, where the speed limit is 110km/h, just after 2am on Wednesday.
Seven minutes later, the same Holden ute was allegedly recorded travelling at 186km/h at Yatala, meaning his average speed…
