Sydney northern beaches business owners fear the lockdown of the region during their usual peak summer trade will mean many restaurants and cafes will not make it through the winter.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian is today expected to formally announce part of the northern beaches will come out of lockdown today, after flagging the decision last week.
