Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 on December 28. The phone went on sale at the stroke of midnight today in China and appears to have smashed all expectations, with Xiaomi announcing a huge sales milestone.
In a Weibo post, Zeng Xuezhong, President of Xiaomi’s mobile department, announced that the company sold over 350,000 units in just five minutes. That sales figure translates into over 1.5 billion Yuan in sales, or right about US$230 million. In just five minutes.
