Flight chaos reigns as WA’s hard borders go up – WAtoday
West Australian passengers have been sent into a frenzy trying to re-enter the state from Victoria.
Eight Melbourne flights carrying 1500 passengers, which arrived at Perth Airport before the midnight deadline, were informed that they had to be tested for the virus and go into self-quarantine for 14 days.
The eight other flights scheduled for Friday could be subject to cancellations and changes due to reduced numbers being permitted to enter, with airlines saying they would monitor scheduling over the next week to see what flights needed to be suspended or cancelled.
