Researchers are studying processing speed deficits in people with spinal cord injuries, according to a Dec. 31 report from the Hindustan Times.
The scientists compared patients and their brain activation patterns with a healthy control group and older people, the report said. Those with spinal cord injuries had similarities in brain activation as the older control group and differences compared to the age-matched control group.
