A rape investigation is underway after a “distressed” semi-naked teenage girl presented to a Gold Coast resort reception.

Police are investigating the alleged rape of two 15-year-old girls by three men they met on Surfers Paradise Beach on Thursday.

The girls were in a group of three who went to the men’s hotel room before their experience went “downhill from there”, Gold Coast acting chief superintendent Geoff Sheldon said.
