Emily Seebohm shares eating disorder struggles
Olympic gold-medal swimmer Emily Seebohm has revealed she has been dealing with an eating disorder for more than two years.
The Brisbane-based swimmer, 28, shared her story on Instagram on Friday, saying she had “binged, purged and taken laxatives” in a photo caption next to an image of herself with a butterfly tattoo on her wrist.

“I’ve counted calories, skipped meals and constantly weighted [sic] myself,” she wrote.
“I’ve been embarrassed to be in my togs. I have judged my body every time I have been in front of a mirror.”
