San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon has made history by becoming the first woman to take charge of an NBA team when she took over after head coach Gregg Popovich was ejected.
- Becky Hammon played 16 seasons in the WNBA and has been an assistant at the Spurs for the last six years
- She was the first woman to be in that role in an official full-time capacity in the NBA
