Victorian trainer Trent Busuttin is cursing himself for not racing Gleneagles a week earlier as he prepares to tangle with Chris Wallers unbeaten colt Ranch Hand on Saturday with a Gold Coast Magic Millions spot up for grabs.
Both Gleneagles, the Wyong Magic Millions runner-up, and Ranch Hand, a dominant three-length Warwick Farm winner, need to win Saturday’s Magic Millions QTIS Handicap (1200m) at Eagle Farm to assure themselves of a Magic Millions 2YO Classic berth next month.
