The Australian Turf Club has moved to enforce a temporary fan lockout of Sydney race meetings after a concerning spike in coronavirus numbers.
Only essential personnel and club officials, owners who have horses racing, and club members will be permitted to attend the New Year’s Day twilight program at Canterbury and Saturday’s Royal Randwick races on the Kensington track.
These meetings will be held under tightened restrictions with no general admission for race fans as ATC and Racing NSW officials…
