Woman, boy receive suspected Irukandji jellyfish stings at Cairns’ Trinity Beach
A woman and boy have been hospitalised after receiving suspected stings by deadly Irukandji jellyfish off far north Queensland.
The woman in her 60s and boy have been taken to Cairns Hospital after being treated by paramedics about midday on Wednesday.
They were in waters off Vasey Esplanade at Trinity Beach in Cairns when they were stung.
They are both in a stable condition, according to Queensland Ambulance Service.
Trinity Beach, Palm Cove, Clifton and Kewarra beaches are now all closed due…
